Today Is a Gloomy Day

A gloomy weather doesn’t really affect my mood. But today, it’s different. It’s different because I miss you.

I remember how your mood changes whenever the weather’s gloomy. You’re just quiet all day. Dull. I sometimes overthink that I was the reason of your mood swings but you rest assured me that it’s just the weather.

Today’s a gloomy day. The rain is pouring like cats and dogs. The sun is hiding behind these big dark clouds. My heart feels heavy. I feel like I’m carrying a sack of rice with my weak arms. Maybe, It’s because of missing you or maybe because of your memories that still haunt my thoughts. I don’t know. Either way, my feet are still nailed on the ground. I wish you were here, lifting my mood like how I lift yours during a gloomy day.

How’s the weather there today? Sunny? Rainy? Cloudy? I hope it’s good day. I always hope that the sun is shining bright and passing through your office window. From there, you won’t feel gloomy anymore.
